Uber must be running out of things to deliver. It delivered kittens and puppies (separate occasions) for people to play with in their offices. It delivered lunch from celebrity chefs to raise money for OzHarvest (that was a pretty good one). And over a massive day last year it delivered Gelato Messina to 17 cities around the country.

Today only, it’s delivering real-life emojis. Uber has partnered with Samsung Australia to launch #GalaxyEmojisAlive, for which Samsung Galaxy owners only (sorry Apple users) in Melbourne, Sydney, Perth and Brisbane can order a surprise emoji delivery via the car service’s on-demand app for free.

There are four emoji options available, but the format they will arrive in is very vague – aside from the doughnut emoji, which comes as a literal pack of doughnuts.

The poo emoji is a bit of a worry. It’s actually one of the options for delivery.

To try your luck, you’ll need to download the Uber app and request your emoji between 11am and 4pm today only. Uber suggests that demand will be “sky-high”, so to keep trying if you’re not successful the first time.

Available only in the CBDs of the four cities.
