Broadsheet: What are your two all-time favourite books?
MC: Catcher in the Rye and Lolita. They both allow you to voyeur through someone else's thoughts. It's nice to break away from your own mind (especially mine, ha) and be transported to someone else's. These two were the first books that gave me an understanding that most people are pretty weird, which I'm pretty happy with.

BS: Which book are you looking forward to reading this summer?
MC: I’m Supposed to Protect You From All This by Nadja Spiegelman, which I started reading and, hopefully, will actually finish.

BS: What are you most excited about this summer? And what are you least looking forward to?
MC: Best thing about summer: Windows down. Hot nights. Lighter eyes. Slurpees. Afternoon naps. Beaches. Seafood. Cold beer and that cicada sound. Worst: Getting in a hot-arse car and burning your legs on hot-arse leather seats and turning on the air-con and hot-arse air coming out.
