Double J will air the first Hottest 100 replay this weekend, as an alternative for those not keen on the current rotation.

While many Australians eagerly await the revelation (and ensuing contention) of triple j’s 2016 Hottest 100, some will prefer listening to the cult classics from the indie scene of 1996.

Alongside Spiderbait – the first Australian band to crack the Hottest 100 – you’ll hear ‘90s heavyweights Tool, Underworld, Weezer and The Smashing Pumpkins.

Spiderbait is touring the country in 2017 to celebrate the 20-year anniversary of Ivy & The Big Apples, and will play the album live from start to finish.

Tune into Double J from 12pm on Saturday January 28.
