Here’s a fun 21st century lesson (Frank Ocean, take note): keep fans waiting long enough, they’ll start picking through the actual code on your website for scraps of information.

That’s what one inquisitive Gorillaz fan did this week, discovering a tour page built into the backend of the cartoon band’s newly relaunched website.

The band, led by Blur frontman Damon Albarn, hasn’t embarked on a world tour since its Escape to Plastic Beach Tour in 2010, during which it visited Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.

Gorillaz is currently working on a new album slated for release in early 2017, which is already confirmed to feature De La Soul, Snoop Dogg and Vic Mensa.

Fingers crossed.
