The Book of Mormon is slinging a limited number of $40 tickets, to be sold by ballot, before each of its performance at the Sydney Lyric Theatre.

Trey Parker and Matt Stone’s Broadway sensation is widely praised as deeply offensive and hysterically funny, and it’s playing from February 28. The musical has scooped nine Tony Awards, four Oliver Awards, a Grammy and a bunch of glowing reviews – seats are precious.

You have to visit the box office (which opens at 9am sharp) at the theatre to enter the ballot, in person. Two hours before the curtain is drawn, the winners of the $40 tickets will be drawn at random.

Tickets will be going on a first-come, first-served basis, and each customer is allowed just two tickets per entry. Bring your ID, too – you’ll need proof of purchase on the day.
