A host of big-name local and international artists have been announced for the 10th Lost Paradise festival, the annual New Year’s Eve bash in Glenworth Valley on the Central Coast of NSW. While many festivals have faced cancellation over the past few years due to low ticket sales and increased expenses, Lost Valley 2023 sold out early.

Tech-house megastar FISHER will headline the festival’s Arcadia stage, bringing his high-octane energy and hits like Losing It and Atmosphere to the valley. DJ Daddy Trance – aka Berlin clubbing sensation Marlon Hoffstadt – will also appear for a sweat-soaked set that fuses eurodance, trance and techno.

Meanwhile, UK garage fans will be sated with a set by Sammy Virji, and Denis Sulta, a top-tier DJ from the Glaswegian scene will also bring the beats. Grime, drill and beat star AJ Tracey – whose tunes have racked up more than a billion listens in his home country – is also hitting the stage. Massive US R’n’B star Tinashe is also playing the Arcadia stage, performing hit tracks like Nasty, as well as tunes from her new album Quantum Baby.

For a dose of guitar pop, there’s Aussie duo Royel Otis, off the back of their sensational Like a Version cover of Sophie Ellis-Bextor’s hit Murder on the Dancefloor. Londoner SG Lewis – who has collaborated with Elton John, Dua Lipa and Tove Lo – will get the crowd dancing, as will Aussies Confidence Man, who were a crowd favourite at this year’s Glastonbury Festival.

Longstanding Aussie electronic duo Flight Facilities are also set to get audiences moving with one of their signature “Decades” sets, in which they spin hits ranging from the 1970s to the 2020s. Other heavy-hitters taking to the festival stage include Aussie DJ Boring, UK garage sensation Interplanetary Criminal, local pop singer-songwriter Kita Alexander, indie rockers Teenage Dads, Canadian electronic star Caribou and Dutch electronic group Tinlicker.

Over at Shambhala Fields, guests will find the likes of Dr Karl, activist and artist Aretha Brown and comedian Will Gibbs leading workshops, performances and late-night music sessions.

All tickets to Lost Paradise include camping, and much of the festival’s decor, art and staging are made from recycable materials.

Presale tickets go on sale at 10am on August 27, and general admission at 10am on August 28.
