Pack up the picnic basket and put on your rave boots because Days Like This is returning to Victoria Park with a diverse line-up from across the electronic-music world.
At the top of the bill sits heavy hitting, big-tent German techno acts such as Sven Väth and Dixon as well as a live, likely to be heavily improvised, set from David August.
Following those headliners are some real gems. Get ready for genre-defying selections from the incomparable and beloved Four Tet; dusty, sample-driven house from Detroit legend Andrés; buoyant house and electro from tINI; propulsive, organic techno from Californian musician Avalon Emerson; and obscure gems and classic party edits from Horse Meat Disco. Capping it all off is Balearic godfather DJ Harvey (read Broadsheet’s interview with DJ Harvey to get acquainted).
Locals include the queen of Melbourne dance floors, CC:Disco!, and a live set from rising star Willaris. K. Plus, there are still more artists to be announced.
It’s going to be one hell of a party and it’s just a short walk from Glebe, Newtown and Chippendale. No reason not to really.
Days Like This takes place at Victoria Gardens, Broadway, on March 9, 2019. Register for pre-sale tickets here.
