A new festival of music, culture and entertainment is set to transform The Domain into a winter wonderland this June and July. Not only will a stellar line-up of artists perform during Winter in The Domain, but a free-to-enter festival precinct will entertain even those who haven’t managed to snag a ticket.

The first line-up includes some big-name local artists. Hot Dub Time Machine will perform a matinee and an evening show on July 3, while Sydney electro legends The Presets will take over the stage on July 17. Thelma Plum, Baker Boy and Miiesha are set to play on July 9 to celebrate Naidoc Week, and Missy Higgins, The Cat Empire, Ball Park Music and Holy Holy are also scheduled to play in July. Plus, vivacious party crew Heaps Gay will celebrate its eighth birthday with a colourful carnival on June 26.

Winter in The Domain’s Winterpark will host a slew of activities for those with and without tickets to the gigs. Visit for an ice rink, rides, spots to grab food and heated bars for after-work drinks.

The new festival announcement follows a number of other open-air CBD festivals designed to aid the city’s recovery from Covid-19, including Summer in The Domain, Garden Social and Sunset Piazza.

Winter in The Domain runs from June 25 to July 18 at The Domain. Tickets go on sale at midday on May 19.
