Booze and broilers
Surry Hills charcoal-chicken joint Henrietta is doing a bottomless booze deal every weekend until the end of summer. All day and all night, add 75 minutes of unlimited booze to Henrietta’s banquet of chicken, chips, salads, sides and toum. For $29 a head you’ll get bottomless rosé or beer, or if you’re keen to splash out, it’s $39 for never-ending wine, beer and Aperol spritz. The offer is only available with purchase of the banquet.

An eat street
Darlinghurst’s Stanley Street is celebrating Good Food Month this Saturday January 15 with a Taste of Stanley Street. From 11am–10pm, the street and its many diners are doing $20 meal and drink deals: get tacos and a Marg at La Farmacia; spag bol, garlic bread and a glass of red wine at Bill & Toni’s; oysters and Doom Juice rosé at Bar Nina; and chicken burgers and a Daiquiri at The Big Easy. There’ll also be al fresco dining, as well as live music (including a mariachi band), drag queens and fire performances.

Opening the vault
Restaurants under The Bentley Group banner – Bentley, Monopole, Cirrus, Yellow, Ria – are known for their world-class wine menus. Now, the group is giving the public access to its impressive collection of drops with the launch of Bentley Wine Vault, an online wine store stocking some of the best wines in the world, many of which are typically only available for purchase by restaurants. There are more than 300 wines on the site, with new ones added regularly, from cult drops to legendary big-name wines and natural gems. Pick up a bottle of 1982 Dom Perignon for $1075 for a special occasion, or a bottle of Ochota Barrels rosé for $32 for more everyday (but no less delicious) drinking.

Popping dough
Dr Dough Donuts is marking National Popcorn Day (January 19) with the launch of a special-edition doughnut: the Pop It Like It’s Hot ($49.95 for 10). These buttered popcorn-flavoured doughnuts are topped with a hill of popcorn and drizzled with caramel topping. Get them delivered seven days a week, no matter where you are in Sydney.

Taco time
Neutral Bay diner Socal is taking Taco Tuesday and stretching it out to Wednesday and Thursday as well. From 5pm Tuesdays, and from 12pm–2pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays, feast on $3.50 tacos. Choose from grilled fish, house-smoked beef or pork, and mushroom tacos. It’s minimum four tacos per person (but you’ll still have plenty of cash left for a Tommy’s Marg).
