Bloodorange has been a solid fixture on the Sydney retail landscape since 2005, and shows no signs of slowing down.

The store recently had a facelift of sorts with a new fit-out designed by Catherine Lassen and Anna Ciliberto, which has complimented the small space with floor-to-ceiling mirrors and beautiful stone flooring. Nestled among the luxury apartment blocks that typify the area, the store makes for a genuine retreat in its Elizabeth Bay locale.

When inside, you’ll find yourself nestled among racks of Alexander Wang, French powerhouse A.P.C., Acne and K.Jacques. The store also has a strong Australian design connection, stocking labels such as Dress Up by Stephanie Downey, Aesop, Euipment Femme, Araks lingerie and local favourite bassike.

Owner and buyer Loren Abood definitely seeks out classicism and sophistication at its best, yet finds a way to create a relaxed mood and ambience that puts you at ease in the store. It’s a rare combination.
