Features
Some things just go together. Bacon and eggs. Fish and chips. Salt and pepper. Neil Perry and Double Bay.
Cafe Margaret is the pony-tailed chef’s breezy all-day venue, which compliments his adjacent restaurants Margaret and Gran Torino.
Here, you’ll find a breakfast menu featuring a four-cheese toastie and a bacon and egg roll one Broadsheet editor can’t stop thinking about. The lunch offering includes a nicoise salad, a ploughman’s plate and a chicken schnitty. And of course, the cheeseburger named Australia’s best.
Fancier is the night-time menu, which includes lunchtime favourites (yes, the burger) alongside entrees and large proteins with typical Perry flair.
