In Japan, the word “Itadakimasu” is said before a meal as a universal thanks. At this sliver of a shop, from the team behind Sandoitchi next door, you can thank the universe for made-to-order onigiri, snacky sides and generous set meals.

Under the glass counter at the front of the shop, you'll spot onigiri ranging from crispy prawn to an Okinawa-style "taco" variant. Fried dishes like salt-and-vinegar eggplant karaage are passed seamlessly between venues through a hole in the wall connecting the venues.

Global and local ingredients are sourced for sets highlighting Tokyo, Okinawa, and Hokkaido – the latter featuring grilled scallops and spanner crab. Pair your meal with house sodas by day, or saké spritzes and highballs by night.
