Cronulla Beach is a huge stretch of sand running the entire length of the suburb. But really, the iconic southern end, with its colossal pine trees and bustling hospitality, is the beach you’re likely to see on postcards, television and social media.
It’s the only beach in Sydney with its own train line, connecting it to the CBD and greater Sydney. And because the conditions are so good, it’s also one of the few places where lifeguards patrol the surf during the winter months.
Throw in a huge variety of cafes, bars and the natural amphitheatre that is Cronulla Park, and you’ve got the recipe for an unbeatable seaside destination.
