Features
Mint, just down the road from Cronulla’s train station, is breathing fresh air into the local cafe scene. Converted from an old corner store, it is unmissable, with its worn-timber fit-out and line of happy, smoothie-holding customers.
Mint’s mission is simple – to provide healthy wholefoods to locals and to cater to a noted gap in Cronulla’s cafe scene. Owner and Manager Kylie Daly is also a nutritionist and prioritises paleo foods and balanced meals. Also important at Mint is using local produce that has not been grown using preservatives or chemicals.
On the menu you’ll find classic cold-pressed juices and smoothies made from homemade almond and Brazil nut milks. Try a vegetarian lentil burger on a gluten-free bun or a raw, sugarless chocolate ball. The menu also features a wide array of seasonal salads and rolls, all of which are, of course, organic.
