Despite an overnight reminder from the NSW Industrial Relations Commission that striking is illegal, drivers walked off the job at midnight for 24 hours.
If your ride home is via Leichhardt, Burwood, Kingsgrove or Tempe, you’ll need to find an alternative route.
Routes 438 and 461 will operate a limited service along Parramatta Road during afternoon peak hour (3pm until 7pm).
If you’re heading to Sydney Airport, bare in mind Route 400 (Bondi Junction to Burwood) will also be disrupted.
Plan ahead and catch the train or light rail wherever possible.
