Cheekyburger at The Chippendale

Hidden in the enclaves of the Chippendale Hotel is the second location of Cheekyburger, the cult burger bar with a huge following. Surrounded by colourful murals and a ubiquitous American flag, with neon bulbs strung overhead, Cheekyburger’s second location is a celebration of the night and its inhabitants.

The original location in Paddington made the store famous for their unapologetic approach to conquering hunger, and the Chippendale location doesn’t take a step back.

The team has brought with them a similar menu that is full of American influence from start to finish. Take a seat at one of the low tables or on the cushioned bench along the back wall and choose a burger, be it their signature cheeseburger in the single, double or triple variety, pork, mushroom or cheesesteak. All of their burgers come with a solid combination of simple ingredients that will keep you coming back. There is also an impressive selection of sides including chilli cheese fries, deep fried pickles, corn on the cob and mac n cheese. The drinks options are relatively simple, with a range of sodas and shakes, but seeing as it is housed within a pub, we don’t think you’ll have a hard time finding a drink to wash down your burger with.
