When Rockpool Est. 1989 announced it would close and reopen as a new restaurant there was protest and intrigue. But the changes were not dramatic. Eleven Bridge is a fine restaurant with a great wine list that continues to use the best produce and provide exceptional service.
Head chef Phil Wood and his team pour miso soup over poached John Dory and fresh tofu. Abalone is cooked in brown butter. Whole partridges steamed in bread are carved at the table. A Wagyu tartar with apple, Chinese cabbage, pine nuts and sesame is mixed in front of diners.
