Features
T Totaler, a loose-leaf tea store, that's all about buying local, educating and experimenting with different flavour profiles and brew methods such a cold drop and sparking tea.
Order in and your tea will arrive freshly brewed in one of the cafe’s sleek, flat-bottomed glass tumblers. Or purchase a take-home batch of your preferred blend, packaged in amber glass pharmaceutical jars, which customers are encouraged to recycle when they come in for a top-up.
On Friday nights the space transforms into Tea Bar, which serves a range of playful, non-alcoholic Tea Tails, such as the staff favourite the Tea-Negroni – a mix of Gin-seng, juniper, San bitters, orange and chamomile.
On Sundays T Totaler hosts a five-course matched tea and cake degustation from 4¬¬pm–6pm. Diners will also have the opportunity to learn a little bit about the art of matching tea and food.
Tea alchemy and blending workshops will also offer hands-on and interactive classes in tea properties and brewing techniques. Attendees get the chance to create their own personalised blend from a range of herbs and flavours to take home and enjoy.
