These epicurean delights include devilish colour-coded flavours like Black Velvet (dark Belgian chocolate mud cake with rich dripping chocolate topping), Oriental Flower (lychee and rose with sweet rose petal icing) and Lavender & Honey (soft floral scented cake with creamy honey frosting).
There are a few flavours on the more adventurous side (Pistachio & Cardamom), but for those just wanting an old fashioned cupcake there are a couple of classic flavours. Lemon Squeeze offers a traditional zesty lemon cake and frosting, while Coconut Ice is a sweet adaption of everyone’s favourite childhood bikkies. And what would a cake shop be without a vanilla option? This is no ordinary, run of the mill vanilla though. It’s made with ‘the world’s best pure vanilla bean’.
The rather small but swanky cafe seats 18 and offers up decadent hot elixirs as well as a few stronger drops including champagne. You can even bring a ‘pupcake’, topped with meaty treats, home for your pooch. It might seem a little pricey at $4.50 a pop for a classic cupcake and $27 for half a dozen, but it’s worth every sweet penny.
