Salt Meats Cheese Mosman
When Salt Meats Cheese took over the old Quattro Formaggi deli on the corner of Military Road and Raglan Street in the Mosman shopping village, it was clear it would fit right in. The site was set up for its extensive range of cold cuts, cheeses and pizza, and it filled a hole left in the local market.
At the Mosman version, though smaller than the all-encompassing Alexandria experience, customers can wander in to grab sauce and packets of pasta for home, but stay for a cheese plate, coffee and cake or glass of wine. The menu is compact and focuses on favourites such as four-cheese pizza of fior di latte, parmesan, fromage blanc and gorgonzola; grazing boards with a selection of French cheeses; the NY Packers plate of meats and crusty bread; and salads of fresh buffalo mozzarella and tomato caprese.
Shelves of specialty products include its own range of infused salts, barbeque sauces imported from the US, vanilla pastes, pure maple syrups and handmade pastas.
