Features
Northside Bunker is loud and frenetic due to the high quality of its coffee blends and the machines that process them, both of which are supplied by The Grounds.
The menu reads half like a nod to modern cafe trends and half like a homage to the ‘90s. There is a burger using Luxe brioche buns; a quinoa salad with poached egg; and a breakfast burrito packed with chorizo, cheese and scrambled eggs. There is also risotto, pasta and sandwiches.
The Nutella hot chocolate is a few dollops of Nutella in a cup turned into goop with a bit of hot water with milk added. Dip an Oregano Bakery scroll in and you’ve got a combination to make better even the worst day.
Sometimes Northside Bunker does Friday nights, serving a short wine list, burgers and simple Italian food, but a more established nighttime plan is coming
