Features
Sitting out the front of Noon, on a sunny little corner of Manly, you’re in prime position. The beach is just a few blocks away, and the people-watching is as good as it gets. But if you settle inside this community-minded cafe by Good Good Company (the hospo group behind local faves Chica Bonita, Sunset Sabi and Busta), you’re met with a polished yet welcoming dining room. Comfy leather couches and a wall of glistening glass bricks give the space a cool ’70s edge.
Wherever you sit, you’re in for beautiful breakfast plates showcasing suppliers from outside the northern beaches. Enter Noon’s brekkie roll, featuring focaccia from Pyrmont’s Pioik, eggs from Peats Ridge, and bacon from Marrickville’s Whole Beast Butchery. Other opening highlights included a picnic-y option of house-cured trout, hemp seed loaf and Turkish tzatzik. And a hunk of house-baked banana bread lashed with espresso and maple butter.
