Features
For more than a decade, Corner House has been a go-to for Bondi locals for its rustic Mediterranean and Italian fare. The space has a different vibe depending on where you sit. The link between the more formal and casual areas is the recycled materials and joinery showing off the building’s heritage as an old tram stop.
Downstairs it’s all about woodfired pizza and share plates like saffron arancini, chargrilled Fremantle octopus, and Yamba prawns from the grill with ’nduja butter, chives & lime. Pastas, such as the standout pappardelle with beef shin ragu, are all made in house and can be made gluten free.
Upstairs is where you’ll find the cocktail bar and cosy spaces that can be booked out for functions. The wine list leans both ways, with plenty of classic and new wave options. No matter what you’re chasing, you’ll find good options at a range of price points.
