The Wine Library
Features
Over 350 handpicked drops make up the dedicated, 15-page wine menu at this sophisticated Oxford Street bar and eatery. Arriving on the Sydney bar scene in 2010, The Wine Library is constantly brimming with wine connoisseurs, industry folk and a stylish eastern suburb-dwelling crowd.
By night, the converted shop-front glows with 50s-style orange light. The bar is long and high, with wine bottles lining the walls behind and low-hanging industrial lamps. The courtyard provides the perfect place for a summer evening sip, while the dining room out the back is set for a relaxing and intimate meal from the Mediterranean menu, ideal for sharing.
While The Wine Library is a wine bar, you can also do a few cocktails here. But in our opinion, going to a wine bar and not having wine is like ordering a salad at a steakhouse, or asking for vodka at Oktoberfest. Come for a glass or two, you’ll be well looked after.
