The Bucket List
Once set to be a pop-up, The Bucket List proved too popular to ever give up its spot. The breeze space takes on a beachy design, as you'd expect from a venue spitting distance from the beach. The Bucket List is somewhere between a gypsy camp and a spontaneous beach party.
Offering bright beers, ciders and a classic selection of warm weather cocktails to compliment the atmosphere. Surprisingly, the bucket cocktails notorious in Southeast Asia are absent from the menu, though it’s probably for the best. Choose instead from 'cocktails to kick off your bucket list' including 'Get paid to surf' (passionfruit or coconut water mojito) and 'Find liquid gold' (olmeca tequila, agave syrup and lime topped with beer).
Dishes come in a range of small plates, larger sharing plates, mains, tacos, burgers and sandwiches. Head chef Tom Walton's summer menu include crumbed fish burger and chips, poached ocean trout with heirloom tomatoes, green beans, olives, cos and a soft-centred egg and grilled split Queensland prawns with paprika, garlic, oregano and lime.
