Features
Taking over the top floor of the Beach Road Hotel, a space previously occupied by businesses such as Eat Art Truck’s TruckStop is the latest BL Burgers joint.
A large alfresco area that spans the rooftop gives the new BL Burgers a breezy, beachy vibe. It also has more seating than at the Oxford Street shop. It was the Beach Road Hotel’s art director, ex-Mambo designer Brent Smith (the artist behind BL’s Darlinghurst mural) who sealed the deal for them.
The Beach Road menu features the same weekly specials, but with a few exclusives, such as the PB&J and the Blame of Thrones, a Wagyu patty, cheddar, house-smoked duck bacon, sweet-potato poutine and smoked-maple aioli.
The Blame Canada dessert, that outrageous mash-up of vanilla-bean ice cream, “beefy” caramel swirl, maple marshmallow fluff and parmesan, will also find a home at Beach Road. There is also plenty of alcohol at this venue.
