Features
Serving Campos coffee, fresh juices and an all-day breakfast menu and lunch, Kafeine cafe brings a touch of retro to the Darling Street strip of Balmain.
The venue is decorated with eclectic mix of wooden tables, pastel coloured metal chairs, exposed brick walls and splashes of jade green tiles.
Freshly squeezed juices are a great pick-me-up, like the Hangover Recovery - beetroot, carrot, watermelon, apple and orange.
Incorporating ancient grains alongside more traditional fare, the menu includes quinoa granola and kale salads as well as bacon and eggs and the popular burger with fries.
For breakfast you can’t go past the eggs benedict served on potato hash or corn fritters with quinoa, avocado salsa, bacon and relish.
The lunch menu is a mix of sandwiches, wraps, burgers and salads. The tempeh salad with kale, red cabbage, buckwheat, apple, rocket and a tahini tamari dressing is a vegetarian go-to, as is the soft crab burger special.
