What's Sydney like in summer?
People everywhere. Hot, humid, and sweaty – just the way I like it!

Tell us about your perfect day?
A perfect day is when I have time for a leisurely breakfast, preferably a coffee and the custard doughnut from Fratelli Paradiso. I love when I get to shoot in an obscure location or outside by the beach on a sunny day. It also makes me happy working with a great team and when I leave the set excited about the photos I just took.

Where do you get coffee?
The best coffee I ever had in Sydney was from Reuben Hills, but because I’m always shooting in a different location I can’t really be picky, I just get coffee from which ever coffee place is nearest to where I’m working that day.

Where do you knock off in the evening?
I’m normally quite exhausted after a full day of shooting, so I love to just order in a pizza, drink a can of Bundy and watch Gossip Girl.

Where do you go on summer holidays?
Last summer I went to Iceland, but I’ve decided not to swap Australian summers for cold Iceland winters ever again. I’m not sure where I’ll be going this summer, but I want to go somewhere I’ve never been before. Maybe Africa!

What's your favourite place or thing to shoot during summer?
Hot girls sipping on Slurpees on the beach.

What's Sydney like in summer?
Crazy hot. Humid. So good if you live by the beach. Not so good if you work for yourself and have to force yourself to the office. Lots of half-days at work in the summer.

Tell us about your perfect day?
It has to be a daylight savings day. Not enough daylight in a winter’s day to do what I want, which is:
1. Go for a jog or surf.
2. Work with some fun people on a big paying job.
3. Go to yoga (for some reason, hot yoga makes me crave ice cold beer).
4. Meet a few friends at The Stuffed Beaver for some beers and tacos.
5. Fall asleep in my girlfriend's arms while watching Curb Your Enthusiasm.

Where do you get coffee?
At Corduroy in Foster Street, Surry Hills. Nigel the crazy Kiwi makes it with his quirky double denim love.

Where do you knock off in the evening?
The Stuffed Beaver on Bondi Road, down the street from my place. Feels like home away from home in more ways than one. Maybe because it’s Canadian themed.

Where do you go on summer holidays?
Love to go road tripping up the east coast to Byron and anywhere in between. Seal Rocks, Yamba and Byron are my favourites. Such beautiful places with great surf.

What's your favourite place or thing to shoot during summer?
I'm around the beach most of the time in summer, so shooting in and around the water is great. Turquoise water and lots of sun-kissed flesh is a recipe for great shots.
