Refined, contemporary and cool, QT Bondi is a new hotel in Bondi. Its 69 individually styled rooms were designed by acclaimed hotel designer, Nic Graham.

As you enter the hotel a Pop Art-inspired artwork by celebrated Australian-born, London-based artist Shaun Gladwell shows a series of iconic Bondi images. Two digital art installations developed specifically for QT Bondi depict sand, sea and surf. The lobby wraps around to the building’s lift well, where a curved timber facade subtly references the sleek motion of a wave.

Stephen Howard, head of PR and marketing for the QT group says the hotel offers an immersive experience, “allowing guests to live the Bondi life with a beachy, laid-back, barefoot-luxury feel.”

Fresh white walls, blonde-timber flooring and candy-inspired pastels nod to coastal living. The bright and airy rooms have large windows that overlook an internal courtyard – bringing a little bit of the outside in.

In the minibar – alongside wine, pale ale, cider and champagne – there’s coconut water and kombucha, and Bondi essentials such as thongs, a waterproof iPhone pouch and a beard-trimming kit. The hotel can make recommendations on how to get the most out of the area – whether that’s heading to Porch and Parlour for breakfast, Power Living Studio for yoga or the Bucket List for a mojito.
