Introducing Walter G, an amalgamation of exotic colours, eclectic patterns and offbeat fabrics from a land far away.

A reaction to the lack of colour in the Western world, Walter G burst onto the Australian design scene in early 2011, fashioning a myriad of high-end, handmade textiles and soft furnishings for the contemporary home.

The women behind the brand, Lauren Bennett and Genevieve Fennel, perfectly fuse Indian influences with a more contemporary Western design approach. Sourcing and producing in both India and Australia, the Sydney-based duo endeavour to reintroduce colour and pattern to Western consumers through everyday objects.

Summer is nigh and the Walter G ladies are set to spice up our homes with their latest collection – think Raja pinks and marigolds, balmy summer nights and the sweet smell of incense.

The Walter G Indian Summer Bazaar will be a one-of-a-kind showcase with handpicked, brightly coloured gems from India, including Aladdin-like turban lampshades and vintage army canteens.

To complement the shopping experience, Walter G has teamed up with a fabulous florist to whip up colourful creations and scents typical of an Indian summer in the heart of Paddington. Step into the space, be transported to India and sip on some chilled, rosewater-infused refreshments to complete the true Indian summer experience.

Running over just 5 days (from November 15 to 19), the bazaar will offer a 25 per cent discount on all new summer stock and a further five per cent off to all Broadsheet readers. Simply mention Broadsheet and like Walter G on Facebook.

The Walter G Summer Bazaar runs from November 15 to 19, 10am–6pm daily, at Barometer Gallery, 13 Gurner Street, Paddington.
