Ooh La La and Ooh Coffee

On North Freo’s bustling Queen Victoria Street, this cafe with an attached boutique – or maybe it’s vice versa – was born from a love of fashion and a desire for more diverse labels.

Hanging on the racks are an assortment of colours, prints and shapes from international brands Rachel Comey, Caron Callahan and Creatures of Comfort, while accessories from Natalie Marie Jewellery and Garrett Leight eyewear are also on hand.

Co-owner Jessica Quartermaine wanted to bring coffee into the mix, so people can sip and browse through the collection at their leisure. Ooh Coffee is a petite espresso bar she owns along with her partner Lajos Varga, and Ryan Murphy.

Proud Mary and Five Senses supply the coffee and the menu features the likes of double-cheese toasties and Mary Street Bakery doughnuts: snacks suited to enjoyment in the dedicated seating area or eating on the run.
