Angove Street Collective
For design lovers, Angove Street Collective turns gift shopping into an event. It might be the potted orchids by the entrance that entice you in, or the window display of homewares and furniture. Or maybe the women’s and men’s apparel and accessories by designers such as Elk, Morgan Marks and Status Anxiety.
Once you’re inside you’ll find a diverse range of furniture and lifestyle products – Angove Street Collective houses designers who occupy different parts of the space.
One section showcases products from the best designers and artisans of Perth Upmarket, a craft and design market that happens quarterly at Winthrop Hall, UWA. It includes hand-knitted baby goods, printed linen tea towels, ceramic jewellery, homemade tutus, organic skincare and more.
The product range is extensive, but the unerring good taste of owner Greg Baker ensures a cleverly chosen display. Baker is an experienced furniture designer and Ambassador Home, his own collection of locally made and imported furniture, is also on show.
For your post-retail refreshment, the adjacent Miss Watson’s cafe serves Toby’s Estate coffee and cold-pressed juices along with pastries, bircher muesli, doughnuts and baguettes.
