Claire and Isabelle Trolio, the sisters that own this indie treasure trove, are so likeable plenty of customers have walked away with a new friend (and bags full of cutesy gear).
What more would you expect from the community-minded girls who run local site We Love Perth, put their shop on tight-knit William Street and regularly collaborate with local designers on in-house pieces?
The airy shop has a retro feel, with polka-dot feature walls, a light-up sign and kitsch lady portraits by Russian painter, Vladimir Tretchikoff.
The stock itself is even more eclectic: there’s taco-print baby onesies, vintage-inspired dresses, men’s graphic tees and patterned hankies. The only common thread between the womenswear, menswear, baby clothes, homewares, stationery, magazines and accessories is that they’re made by small, independent designers.
Come here to buy a gift for your friend who has everything – whether it’s socks that deliberately come with an extra (take that, laundry-basket monster), pastel milk-bottle vases made from French porcelain, or thick stacks of local zines and Frankie back issues.
