Cyril Mason’s is inside the century-old Northbridge building on the corner of William and Francis streets.
All of Cyril Mason’s beer is brewed in-house by veteran brewers Geoff and Dan Goddard, once of Fremantle’s Blacksalt Brewery. Beers are brewed only six kegs at a time. All the beer is fresh, made without any pasteurisation or preservatives.
The venue has 16 beers on tap and the selection – which changes regularly – has included pilsners, pale ales and Belgian-style beers. A cider is also served.
Non-beer drinkers can enjoy a cocktail or something from the list of natural, lo-fi wines. To eat there are Roman-style pizzas. Compared to the chewier, more commonly seen Naples-style crust, Roman-style pizza is notable for its crispness.
Antipasti and sharing-size pasta dishes are also available.
