Saving for a home is hard. But so is paying rent, settling a mortgage or just getting through the never-ending pile of bills.

In some good news, MSWA’s Mega Home Lottery is here. One lucky winner will take home a grand prize that includes a $3.1 million fully furnished home in the seaside suburb of Marmion, Perth, and a healthy $500,000 in cash – all that’s left to do is move in. The six-bedroom property is on a 769-square-metre block just 500 metres from the beach. Just know you’ll be the new go-to house for your friends, with a massive backyard, wraparound verandah and plunge pool. And, if you’re still not sold the house are open for viewings, so you can go check it out before you enter.

The earlier you buy tickets to the lottery, the more there is to win. This year, the Early Bird Prize is a contemporary North Fremantle apartment worth $1.6 million, sandwiched between the ocean and the river. The three-bedroom unit has two balconies, is decked out with top-of-the-range fixtures and a luxe kitchen for the home chef.

Plus, 10 vouchers worth $10,000 are in the prize pool alongside a bunch of other experiences and electronics.

There’s a one in 15 chance to win from a pool of over 15,000 prizes, and every ticket purchase goes towards raising funds for life-changing research into finding the cause of, developing better treatments for and ultimately curing MS and other neurological conditions.
