MANY 6160

10:00am - 5:00pm
2 Newman Court Fremantle 6160

Many believe retail is dying, and store closures across WA have proved it true. But MANY 6160 proves there’s still life left in bricks-and-mortar retail.

It rose from the ashes of Myer Fremantle in 2013. What once housed the same designer pieces found in any department store is now a space shared by an eclectic bunch of local and international retailers.

The roster includes some of the nation’s most promising up and comers, such as artist Anya Brock, Fremantle’s own Cocoon Textiles and WA-based furniture craftspeople Maeker Studio. Meanwhile, reputable boutiques such as Kate and Abel, Billie + Rose and Hunter Store source the latest trends from international runways.

The upper floors no longer house womenswear, menswear and electronics. In fact, they’re off limits for customers, instead reserved for artisans crafting their wares onsite.

A summer visit isn’t complete without sampling a handmade salted caramel or cucumber and chilli ice treat from La Paleta. The Kate and Abel cafe is perfect year round, specialising in Freo-made loose-leaf teas, WA-roasted brews and complimentary shortbread made by Kate’s dad – a lovely touch.
