Turn off everything in the kitchen. Clean out your fridge. Hop in the passenger seat, sit back and relax. We’re offering you and three friends the chance to be chauffeured around town in a stylish new Honda HR-V, to enjoy dinner at some of the city’s best restaurants – every night for a week. That’s right, for seven consecutive days in September you’ll be wined, dined, picked up and taken home, all on Broadsheet and the Honda HR-V.

Here’s the plan.

Monday

The week begins at Shadow Wine Bar in Northbridge, a cultural staple that leans into its European feel with a menu ranging from light snacks, such as steak tartare or Shark Bay crabs, to larger offerings of flat iron steaks and a crispy pork jowl. A list of European drops fills the wine list, with a few locals thrown in for good measure.

Tuesday

David Thompson’s Long Chim brings some Bangkok buzz to the start of the week. Thai street food is the star, but there’s some serious finesse happening in the kitchen. Always authentic, expect chilli – lots of chilli. A short but sweet wine list and some Thai-inspired cocktails offer relief from the heat.

Wednesday

Lulu La Delizia in Subiaco is named after chef Joel Valvasori-Pereza’s grandmother, who emigrated from Italy’s Fruili region in the ’50s. Hearty, northern-Italian-inspired plates offer a change of pace, with a wine list to match and plenty of Friulian flair, making this little osteria a standout.

Thursday

Petition Kitchen is a no-fuss diner from chef Jesse Blake (ex-Cumulus Inc.). Shared plates with a focus on seafood and seasonality are the order here, presented simply with bursts of colour and texture.

Friday

Meat Candy takes its name seriously – see buttermilk fried chicken, smoky pulled pork, and sticky lamb ribs on the menu. Batched cocktails and spiked house-made sodas wash it all down. Sounds like an ideal Friday night.

Saturday

Head down the coast to Il Lido for a beachside plate of “peasant style” Italian food at this little cantina in Cottesloe. Indulge in house-made orecchiette, fresh seafood (served simply grilled with bright citrus) and an Italian-focused wine list.

Sunday

Finish your decadent week at Ku Dining, a fine diner that is decidedly un-stuffy. The menu is made up of flavours from all over the globe. You’ll find Chinese-style duck with mandarin and spice; Japanese custard topped with pipis; and a beef tartare with Australian wattle-seed chips all sitting comfortably side-by-side. An open kitchen keeps the feel light and fun. There’s no better way to wrap up a week-long party.

Seven Dinners in Seven Nights will run from September 11 to 17. Don’t miss this one. Fill in the form below by September 4 for your chance to win.
