Bar Patrón, the Rockpool Dining Group’s Sydney-based Mexican bar and restaurant, is popping up at Rockpool Bar & Grill Perth for one day only in November.

Bar Patrón – a joint venture between The Neil Perry-helmed Rockpool Dining Group and tequila brand Patrón – opened in early 2018 with a menu of punchy Mexican eats and exclusive Patrón spirits and tequilas. November’s pop-up marks Bar Patrón’s Perth debut. Perry, Rockpool Dining Group’s culinary director, says there’s a lot to look forward to.

“We’re thrilled to bring a taste of Bar Patrón to Perth,” says Perry. “The menu is ideal for a celebratory lunch. It’s fun, vibrant and bursting with quintessential flavours.”

The pop-up features a three-course edit of the Bar Patrón menu, starting with tortilla chips and guacamole hand-pounded to order, and seared-tuna tostadas. The starters will be followed by Mexican-style fried chicken, tacos two ways (fried fish and whole grilled beef tongue), and a selection of desserts including tres leche cake and corn-husk meringue pavlova.

Lunch will be served alongside three Bar Patrón classic margaritas.

The Bar Patrón pop-up is on Tuesday November 5 from 11am to 3pm. Tickets are $125 per person and bookings are essential. The regular Rockpool Bar & Grill bar menu will be available after 3pm.
