Sprouting From the rooftops
At Bib & Tucker’s Rooftop & Garden dinner on Tuesday June 12, head chef Scott Bridger will serve vegetables grown in his North Fremantle garden as well as the restaurant’s rooftop vegetable garden. Honey from the restaurant’s beehives will also feature. The fivecourse dinner will be matched with drinks including kombucha. Tickets are $95 (all-inclusive) and available online.
Land and Sea
Further north along the coast, Island Market Trigg joins forces with Jarrahdale’s Millbrook on Tuesday May 29 for a night of Island Market’s Mediterranean flavours. Millbrook chef-gardener Guy Jeffreys will bring vegetables including varieties grown especially for this collaborative dinner. The menu will also celebrate Manjimup produce including rhubarb, quince and cauliflower, plus black truffles from Island Market food director David Coomer’s own trufferie . Tickets are $120 and available online.
Harry Potter and the Hogwarts-inspired Dinner
Between Thursday June 21 and Saturday June 23, Harry Potter takes over The Guildford Hotel. Guests will enjoy a three-course menu served communally Hogwarts-style, make their own potion punch and drink cocktails inspired by the movie. No need to be shy: guests are encouraged to dress and dine in their finest Hogwarts-inspired attire. . Tickets are $90 and available online.
Northbridge Soda Pop-Up
Located next to Metro City on Roe Street, Soda Pop is an American diner bar-themed pop-up that runs till July 22. The pop-up is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday and hosts cinema nights, silent discos and music performances with a range of both free and ticketed events. See sodapop.net.au for the full program.
