A Halloween Croff croissant
Perth crossanterie Croff Bakehouse is embracing Halloween with a new creation inspired by the cult Netflix series Squid Game. The black and red bi-colour croissant is filled with a cookies and cream mascarpone filling, and topped with pink fairy floss, house-made toasted marshmallows and Dalgona Candy (a Korean candy that features in the show). There’s even a Dalgona Challenge for those wanting to play for the chance to win a $500 gift card. The croissant is available at both the Barrack Street and Raine Square Croff Bakery.

Sundays on The Raft
Perth’s party pontoon The Raft is bringing back its Sunday sessions on the Swan River from Sunday November 7. Sail Away Sundays offer a bottomless lunch and sunset session. The three-course lunch serves free-flowing sparkling, wine, beer and Pampelle spritz for 1.5 hours. There are two sitting times available and guests get free access to the sunset session that kicks off at 2pm. There’s also a private boat that runs back to the Barrack Street Jetty every 20 minutes, so you can head back to the mainland whenever suits. Tickets are $89 per person and available here.. Tickets to the Sunset Session start at $20 and include a boat transfer and a drink on arrival (with a food purchase).

For goodness sake
Sake No Jin is Perth’s largest and longest running sake festival – and it’s coming back to Tsunami in December. Ticket holders will get unlimited tastings of more than 90 different sakes over two hours. There’ll also be Japanese beer, whisky and gin, plus gyoza, sashimi, sushi, matcha ice cream and more by Tsunami’s new chef, Tomohiro Nozue. The festival runs over two days on Saturday December 4 and Sunday December 5, with two sessions on both days from 12pm-2.30pm and 2.30pm-5pm. Tickets are $49 per person and likely to sell out – so book ahead.

Pop the bubble(s)
This Friday, October 29, head to the Heritage Wine Store for its complimentary in-store tastings. The St Georges Terrace liquor store is celebrating bubbles, with pet nat, sparkling and champagne tastings from France, Italy and Australia. The tastings are available from 4pm and no bookings are required.

Disco bingo
Northbridge’s not-so-secret bar Toots launches a monthly “Disco Bingo” night this Thursday (October 28). Entry is free and there are prizes up for grabs (the bar’s regular menu, so you can enjoy a spritz and snacks while getting competitive. Tip: Toots is located within another bar in Chinatown in Northbridge. Once you find the location, head to the bar and say “Is Toots in?” and you’ll receive the ticket to get into Toots. Disco Bingo runs from 6.30pm until 8.30pm and no bookings are required.
