For The Love of Oysters
The White Pearl edition of the Raffles Hotel’s Oyster Frenzy on Friday August 10 is an evening of unlimited seafood canapes, beer, wine and bubbles. Avid oyster fans can also sign up for the oyster-eating competition. Tickets are $120 per person for an all-inclusive two-hour package of food and drinks and the dress code for the event is all white. Tickets available here.

Through The Years with Leeuwin Estate
Celebrate the history of pioneering Margaret River winemaker Leeuwin Estate with a retrospective dinner at The Camfield on Saturday August 4. Leeuwin Estate’s co-CEO Simone Furlong, winemaker Phil Hutchinson and wine writer Ray Jordan are joining to host the four-course dinner that will feature six current and museum release wines from the Leeuwin Estate cellar. Truffle and Cheese Dinner
In a previous life, David Coomer was chef at Perth dining powerhouses such as Star Anise, Pata Negra and Fuyu. These days, he spends his day at Coomer Truffles, his farm and trufferie in Manjimup. Coomer will be talking truffles at Bib & Tucker’s Truffle & Cheese event on Tuesday August 7 and covering everything from production to how to use this rare and exotic fungus. Tickets to the four-course dinner are $90 per person (paired wines are available for an extra $25). Tickets are available online.

The Royle Treatment
After helping establish Voyager Estate as one of Margaret River’s most promising wineries, Cliff Royle is now working his magic at Flametree Wines. The talented winemaker will be hosting a five-course dinner at Mount Lawley’s [Must Wine Bar] and talking guests through both current and vintage-release wines. The dinner is on Friday August 17.
