The Swan Valley’s Feral Brewing Co is hosting a long table dinner at the Cottesloe Beach Hotel on Thursday October 25. Consisting of a four-course meal paired with five beers from the Feral range, the dinner is pitched squarely at drinkers with a thirst for bold beers. Tickets are $79 and bookings can be through the hotel.
Hylin Back Bar Goes Green
Evenings are usually prime time for Hylin’s Back Bar but the neighbourhood bar will open during the day this weekend to host a pop-up plant sale. The bar will be selling plants, pots and accessories from Botanical Lane in Applecross with the cafe open between 7am and 3pm for your pre-shopping coffee and breakfast fix. The pop-up sale runs from 8am to 2pm on Saturday October 26 and Sunday October 27.
Suckling Pig and Pinot
Santini Bar & Grill, QT Perth’s in-house Italian restaurant, wants us to reconsider the Friday long lunch. Available from 12pm and 2.30pm, Pig & Pinot Fridays features a Sicilian-style suckling pig and a glass of Pinot for $55 per person. Bookings through the restaurant.

St Georges Terrace cheese bar Fromage Artisans is hosting a his and hers masterclass with a difference. Yallingup Cheese cheesemaker Alana Langworthy and winemaker husband Julian Langworthy (chief winemaker at the Fogarty Wine Group and the 2019 James Halliday Winemaker of the Year) will be co-hosting Home of Wine and Cheese and talking about the synergies between their handiwork. The masterclass is on Tuesday December 4 and tickets are $95 per person.
