Following a six-month hiatus after the death of her boyfriend, BrandE the Label designer Elli Del Borrello is marking her return to the fashion industry with 1ne, a new collection of men and women’s fashion staples.

“1ne is the biggest collection I’ve made,” says Del Borrello, who dedicates the collection to the memory of her late partner, Scott Jonathan Hoar. “All the designs and materials are very simple, easy to wear, which is mainly what it’s about for me.”

Since launching her Perth label in 2014, Del Borrello has favoured a monochromatic aesthetic of classic leather and cotton jackets, tees and shorts. This season introduces linen and silk to her line.

The new collection was launched last month at an event in Osborne Park with all proceeds going to the Brain Injury Foundation.

1ne is available online and at Department Mount Lawley (667 Beaufort Street, Mount Lawley), HyperLuxe Active Wear (97c Flora Terrace, North Beach) and The Archive Clothing (23 Market St, Fremantle).
