News that Alice McCall has finally opened a boutique in Western Australia will be welcomed by the Australian fashion designer’s fanbase.
The boutique, one of five to have opened recently around the country, quietly began trading on September 9 in the Claremont Quarter.
Since launching her namesake label in 2004, McCall has shown her collections at London and New York fashion weeks, and has stockists all over the world.
Her playful, lightweight and often sheer designs are a wardrobe staple for Perth women who experience warm and sunny weather for majority of the year.
The new spring/summer collection features her renowned playsuits and jumpsuits in lace and floral fabrics.
"My must-have items from our spring/summer 17 WeFloat collection would have to be something from the Painted Blossom story, which consists of a midi dress, playsuit, crop top and shorts in two colourways,” says McCall.
The release of McCall’s whimsical prints and designs are timely with the onset of wedding and spring-racing seasons.
“The Ti Amo Dress is perfect for a spring wedding, birthday and the racing season,” says McCall. “The Love Thing top is also a favourite of mine and is based on a bestselling silhouette. It can be pared-back with denim, culottes, or the Willow Garden Shorts for head-to-toe print."
The new store channels the Alice McCall brand and uses blush accents and gold fittings to create a romantic aesthetic.
