Experience the full range of Western Australia’s southern producers with a day spent grazing on handmade cheese, wine, local produce, whisky, and gin.

Dive into Western Australia’s cool-climate wine region with a daylong tour that includes wine tasting and grazing on local cheeses, spirits and more.

This hosted, curated RedBalloon experience of WA’s Great Southern Wine Region begins with a travel pick-up from your accommodation before arriving at Ducketts Mill Farmhouse. Indulge in handmade cheese here at the region’s only cheese factory, as well as decadent fudge, and fresh preserves. Take home your favourites after exploring the cellar door, including ice-cream made on site.

Next stop is waterside winery and restaurant The Lake House. Here enjoy a leisurely lunch, with food platters and fruit and veg harvested directly from its kitchen garden, paired with Lake House Denmark wines. Follow it with a private tour and guided tasting at Albany’s Limeburners Distillery, which produces a variety of award-winning single-malt whiskies as well as eight unique gins and other boutique sprits.

Hosted by an expert guide, this is an insightful, no-fuss exploration of the region’s bountiful gourmet producers and standout wine and spirit makers. Settle in for an immersive day of sampling WA’s finest.
