With Love From WA
Perth’s music community will unite on February 16 for a day of live sets at the Rosemount Hotel. Every single cent raised from ticket sales will go to help people (and animals) impacted by the bushfires still ablaze in parts of the country.
Numerous Perth artists are donating their time and talents for the cause – the first announcement includes hip-hop artist Drapht, singer-songwriter Katy Steele (of alternative rock band Little Birdy), alt-indie outfit Great Gable, all-female indie-pop group Dulcie, The Money War and Demon Days. The second announcement features pop-rockers End of Fashion, Superego, Sly Withers, Odette Mercy & Her Soul Atomics and Sydnee Carter. A total of 46 artists will perform across three stages.
The funds raised will be split 50-50 between the Red Cross and Wires wildlife rescue. The Rosemount Hotel has also waived its venue-hire fee and will donate a slice of bar sales to the cause.
If you can’t make it to the event, there are $10 donation-only tickets available.
From 2pm to 11pm.
