On the last Thursday of every month, the upstairs bar at Madalena's hosts intimate evenings full of classic cocktails, snacks and live jazz from a four-piece band.
It’s like stepping into a cosy, prohibition-era speakeasy in New York – but with spectacular views over Fremantle’s South Beach.
Madalena's has designed an à la carte jazz night snack menu. It’ll feature small bites which are easy to share, and which won’t distract from the performers. Well-shaken cocktails are on offer along with the venue’s entire wine list.
The event kicks off from 5.30pm, with the band playing from 6.30pm. For those keen on something a little more substantial to eat, dinner reservations downstairs are available from 5pm. Afterwards, the bar will stay open for a nightcap to cater to anyone who’s still in the swinging spirit.
