Colour Run Love Tour
The Colour Run, a five-kilometre fun run that sees runners doused in colourful pigments, is debuting at Claremont Showground in October.
There are dedicated “colour zones” – where volunteers will throw powder to ensure you look like you ran through a rainbow – at each kilometre, plus a bubble zone, a foam zone and DJs and dancing at the finish line.
Runners will receive limited-edition unicorn medals at the end of the race, along with a free Slurpee and other take-home goodies.
They’re also encouraged to fundraise for Colour Run’s official charity partner, the Starlight Children’s Foundation, which is committed to bringing laughter to sick Australian kids.
Gates to open from 7am and the first wave or runners will be released onto the course at 8.30am.
