Perth Festival, February 6 to March 1

Taste Great Southern, March 5 to 8
Taste Great Southern is the perfect excuse for a city break and a must-do for anyone who’s serious about good food and wine. Expect events that celebrate the coastal cool of the southern region including a Cold Nips session at Middleton Beach; Peak to Plate, a hike of the Porongorups followed by a feast; and an oyster and riesling masterclass at Albany Whaling Station hosted by Emma Farrelly. Joondalup Festival, March 7 to 22
Just half an hour north of Perth, Joondalup is going all out this March for Joondalup Festival. Kicking off the opening weekend is Kaya, a celebration of Noongar culture through music, storytelling and dance. Plus, an art installation in the lakes of Sir James McCusker Park, and a water and pyrotechnics parade at Hillarys Boat Harbour. Tickets on sale now.
Mandurah Crab Festival, March 14 & 15
Back for its 25th year, Mandurah Crab Fest celebrates the famous blue manna crab. Over two jam-packed days, you’ll eat more crab than you ever thought possible. There’s also free entertainment from acts like Thelma Plum and DJ Havana Brown, and ticketed experiences like the Texas Honky Tonk opening night event or a barbeque masterclass. Tickets on sale now.
Perth Design Week, March 19 to 26
Perth Design Week highlights the creatives who make our city beautiful through a thoughtful program of exhibitions, panel discussions and community events, with the Designing for the Future panel discussion kicking things off a day early on March 18 at the Liberty Theatre. Tickets on sale now.
April
Perth Comedy Festival, April 20 to May 17
Four weeks. Five venues. More than 70 gigs. Head to the Regal Theatre, the Astor Theatre, The Rechabite, Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre and the State Theatre Centre of WA for sets from Daniel Sloss, Josh Thomas, Matt Okine, Geraldine Hickey and more. Tickets on sale now.
Fremantle International Street Arts Festival, April 3 to 6
Over the Easter long weekend, Fremantle becomes a stage for dance, circus and acrobatic performances. Last year, French dance company Compagnie Bilbobasso headlined the festival with the Australian premiere of Amor, a fiery pyrotechnic tango performance. This year’s program is yet to be released. Unwined Perth, May 15 and 16
Despite what its name might suggest, Unwined looks beyond vino. Over one weekend, you’ll be able to taste the state’s finest craft beer, boutique spirits, cocktails and, of course, plenty of wine. There will be live music, food, and discounts on bottles. Tickets on sale from March 9.
Bickley Harvest Festival, May 2 to 31
Autumn in the Perth Hills means it’s Bickley Harvest Festival time. Over 20 venues will open their doors for tastings, long lunches, and special events that celebrate the best Bickley Valley produce. Full program and tickets available soon.
July
Revelation Perth International Film Festival, July 8 to 19
Western Australia’s largest international film festival returns this July with over 200 feature films, documentaries and shorts. Full program and tickets available soon.
August
Mould x Pinot Palooza, August 7 to 9
There’s no better pairing than wine and cheese. This three-day celebration brings two festivals together under one roof. Mould will showcase over 50 artisanal Aussie cheeses, while Pinot Palooza pours over 50 expressions of pinot noir. Enjoy the spread and the chance to meet the producers behind your favourite drops and cheese. Tickets on sale now.
10 Nights in Port, August 20 to 30
Music and art heat up the streets of Fremantle during the city’s annual winter festival. The 2026 locations and program are yet to be announced, but last year’s event featured interactive installations at Walyalup Fremantle Arts Centre and performances by local bands including Birdland and Sour at the Fremantle Town Hall. Shinju Matsuri, August 21 to September 6
Shinju Matsuri is a 17-day celebration of Broome’s rich multicultural heritage. It dates to the late ’60s when Broome’s pearling industry was at its peak and many Southeast Asian people migrated to the region. The Festival Hub at Town Beach will feature live entertainment, family-friendly activities and food pop-ups. Plus, a line-up of curated events at Matso’s Broome brewery, a Chinatown feast, a sunset supper on the beach, and more. Prices vary, some events free. Tickets on sale now.

Shore Leave Festival: Shore Leave celebrates the mid-west region’s seafood and scenery with markets, live music, tours, and craft workshops. Here’s hoping for the return of the iconic Abrolhos Long Table Lunch on East Wallabi Island when the 2026 line-up is announced.
Gascoyne Food Festival: Discover the best of the Gascoyne region at this month-long festival celebrating the gems of the local food scene.
Pair’d Margaret River: Head south to the scenic Margaret River region for a four-day speedrun of tastings, one-off dinners and musical performances.
