Armed with her trusty harmonica, the Canadian singer-songwriter will belt out her iconic 1995 album Jagged Little Pill, much like her legions of fans after a bad break up.
That means bangers such as Ironic, Head Over Feet and Hand in My Pocket. The album, which turns 25 this year, was nominated for nine Grammy Awards and won five, including Album of the Year, and has sold more than 33 million copies worldwide.
Morrisette hasn’t been idle since the '90s. Last year, a musical version of the award-wining album debuted on New York's Broadway, and in 2016 she began the monthly podcast Conversation With Alanis Morissette, which sees her interview authors, doctors, educators and therapists, and covers a broad range of topics such as spirituality, developmentalism and art.
Alanis Morrisette will play at Perth’s RAC Arena on Saturday April 18 in addition to her previously announced sold-out shows and a second Melbourne date on Tuesday April 14 at Rod Laver Arena. Tickets go on sale on Friday February 21 at 12pm. Pre-sale starts on Wednesday February 19 at 11am.
